Rekordbox Keyboard Shortcuts

macOS only. Both modes have separate shortcut sets, each customizable at Preferences > Keyboard (the panel changes depending on which mode you’re in).

Performance mode

Performance mode ships with two presets. To switch between them, open Preferences > Keyboard while in Performance mode — the preset dropdown appears at the top of the panel.

• Performance 1 (default) — 4 hot cues per deck, 1/2 to 8 beat loops.
• Performance 2 — 5 hot cues, 1/8 to 2 beat loops, full reverse, tempo mode switching.

You can also start from None and build your own. Any preset can be further customized, exported, and imported.

Tip

Hold Option with any Deck 1 or Deck 2 shortcut to control Deck 3 or Deck 4.

Notes

• No keyboard shortcuts exist for: EQ bands, channel faders, crossfader, RMX effects, or STEMS isolation. These require a hardware controller.
• FX controls (Beat FX select, halve/double beats, on/off, dry/wet) appear in Preferences > Keyboard but have no default key assignments. You can assign them manually.
• Search shortcut quirk: In Performance mode, Search uses Control F (not Cmd F). In Export mode, it uses Option F.
